“I took my PT Cruiser to Ashland Auto Repair for an estimate for what I thought would be an involved repair. Jesse checked it out and determined the leak to be nothing more than the fill plug on the transmission. Something I can easily fix myself. No charge for the estimate! Service like this is virtually unheard of. 5 stars and thank you Jesse!”

“My headlight bulb was out & I bought a replacement & tried to replace it myself. Not! Friday afternoon stopped @ Ashland Auto Repair and Norm fixed it in no time and no charge! What a very nice guy! Thank you Norm! Will definitely return & recommend to friends!”

“My battery died at a coffee shop just down the road from their facility. One of the guys changed the battery in my key fob at no charge to troubleshoot when that didn't work he walked down the street with me, charged my battery and had me come down to make sure it would start again. I ended up buying a new battery from them but he was so helpful and generous I will go back every time!”

“Excellent service. Fixed my brakes and replaced rotors for less than half the price of estimate from the chain tire store down the road. Matt was communicative of delays to fix and took the initiative to get rid of a very annoying sound from a hole in the exhaust, with no additional charge to me.

When my car started making more brake problem type noises a few weeks after the job, I thought "oh boy" ...but when i brought it back, they simply diagnosed and removed a loose heat guard over the muffler, also without a charge to me! Highly recommend Ashland Auto Repair, they feel like a real friend, in our small town!”

“Took my car in today because the windshield sprayer wasn't working. When I went back to pick it up, they wouldn't charge me anything. They said it was a simple repair and just kindly sent me on my way. I see now why they get such enthusiastic reviews. They don't know it yet, but they just made another customer forever!”

“I went in with a broken fan belt >1hr before closing on a Friday, and these guys went out of their way to go out and get a new belt and get it slapped on before closing up for the weekend (at a great rate, too). Very appreciated and will definitely be back, A+. Not to mention, everyone I talked to was very likeable and friendly. Good spot.”

“Thank you Jessie! I called Ashland Auto Repair to see if they could look at a truck I was thinking of buying. Jessie told me sure, and to bring it by. Jessie checked it out and told me the things it needed which made it so much easier for me to make my decision. They were super nice and accommodating and if I lived in the area I would use them for all my cars. Jessie has been working on Toyota's for over 20 years. Just wanted to give this shop 5 stars for all their help.”

“My boyfriends '72 Chevy had a radiator leak (plastic connector to the hose broke) suddenly. We pulled into a bank parking lot to check out the damage and across the street was Ashland Auto repair. Not only did they have the part we needed, the machanic Norm came across the street to repair the damage and threw in some coolent as well. Ashland Auto Repair saved the day!”

“My husband, daughter, and I were driving around Ashland and Talent when 3 of my check engine lights came on, one of them insisting we get it looked at right away. We live in the Bay Area and we were staying with my parents along the Klamath River.
It was 4:30 pm on a Tuesday when my husband called Ashland Auto Repair. He spoke to Matt on the phone who kindly told him to come right over ( knowing they were going to close at 5:00).
Meanwhile, my daughter and I were dropped of near Lithia Park. 15 minutes later my husband telephones me to tell me Matt had solved the check engine problem and everything was ok.
I was in shock and flabbergasted by the kindness and efficiency of Matt.

“My boyfriend and I just had the best experience with Ashland Auto Repair. I called earlier this week and spoke to Matt about getting an appointment this week for an inspection on a car we were considering buying. Matt was SO nice on the phone and got us an appointment immediately. We dropped the car off and they did the full inspection. After reporting all looked good and giving the thumbs up to go forward with the purchase we find out that there is NO cost from Ashland Auto Repair to have a car inspected. We were over the moon, especially with buying a car being a large purchase were happy to save money anywhere we can. If you have any troubles with your car swing on by, I'm almost sure you'll have as good of an experience as we did!”

“My experience at Ashland Auto Repair was amazing. I originally took my c300 to Mercedes benz of Medford. They quoted me $900 for a simple Maintenance, I looked up auto shops in my home town of Ashland Oregon and found Ashland Auto Repair. I took my car to them and was immediately astounded at how helpful they were. They did the same service for $290. I Highly recommend them not only for their repairs and maintenance but also for their great customer service. all of the guys are very knowledgeable and helpful. I will be going to them for all my car needs from now on.”

“Honest. Integrity. Quality. Value. I had to get a new engine and these guys did the job for almost half the price quoted by the dealer. Walt and crew have been servicing my Prius and Pathfinder (and cars I owned before that) and do a terrific job. A previous female reviewer perceived gender bias; I have never had that experience in 15 years. What I have experienced is top quality work, done on time (without being sold on work we don't need), and for a price that can't be beat. These guys are terrific.”

“I went in on Christmas Eve morning, and was hoping I would be able to get help without having an appointment. They immediately helped me even though they had other cars on the rack and waiting. It felt like a good, old fashioned, friendly shop: they let you walk into the garage, even close to the cars on the rack, without telling you to stay away like bigger places do. The mechanic was very kind, helpful and spent half an hour fixing my (now minor, but I wasn't sure!) mechanical problem. And then, when I thought I would have to fill out paperwork and pay, he drove the car up to where I was waiting, left the driver's door open and said "you're good to go!"...without taking any payment! Everybody that worked there was very friendly. Downtown Ashland!”
